What characteristics to look for on a Bullmastiff puppy?
I would like to buy a Bullmastiff puppy but I am not sure what physical characteristics to look for. I had boxers, german sheperd, I have a briard, but a I am not sure about hips, ears… I am planning to have him as a pet, not to show. Thanks
They are awesome, gorgeous dogs, But do have some health problems they are prone to like many other breeds. Offhand, I know heart problems,hip problems,elbow problems are issues with them.. so if going through a breeder, find a breeder that screens for all of those things. Why don’t you look for some mastiff forums and ask some people with more experience? Also, you can look for a rescue..or shelter that has Mastiffs. www.Petfinder.com.
